As part of a global network of 12 leading food and beverage events, SIAL connects 700,000 professional visitors and 17,000 exhibitors across 10 food sectors. Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL is one of the SIAL Network’s upcoming shows, returning to MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, from 21 to 23 July 2026. The fourth edition of the international B2B food industry trade show, is expecting more than 18,000 trade attendees, 500-plus exhibitors, 10 international pavilions and over 1,000 global products on display.

In Malaysia, SIAL’s global platform meets a market shaped by ASEAN sourcing, halal expertise, expanding foodservice channels and a strong appetite for new consumer experiences. The 2026 programme reflects that breadth, with the Chocolate Show 2026, the Halal Forum, the ASEAN Barista Team Championship, The Sommelier Experience and of course the network’s signature Innovation Awards.

That innovation focus feels particularly timely. Across the food sector, brands are being pushed to make products healthier, more convenient, less wasteful and more expressive of local food cultures. The Top 10 SIAL Innovation finalists announced for Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL 2026 offer a compact snapshot of that movement. Together, they show how innovation is becoming more precise. Health claims are moving into noodles, chips, cocoa and effervescent drinks. Waste reduction is becoming snackable. Fermentation is crossing categories. Local taste signatures, from kimchi to Musang King durian, are being shaped for wider trade audiences. The selection points to an industry where nutrition, sustainability and regional flavour are increasingly shaping the next generation of products.

Visitors to Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL 2026 will be able to discover these ten finalists alongside the broader range of innovations set to appear across the show, where SIAL Network’s international reach meets Southeast Asia’s appetite for new food ideas.
